French Twitch and YouTube Stars to Promote PokerStars’ PSPC

PokerStars continues to throw the proverbial kitchen sink at its showpiece live event, the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. Scheduled to take place at the Baha Mar Hotel and Resort in Nassau from January 22nd until February 3rd, 2023, the feature tournament is its $25,000-entry PokerStars No Limit Hold’em Players Championship (PSPC).

In an exciting move, PokerStars has arranged for one of Frances’ biggest Twitch stars, Gotaga, to stage a special poker night promoting the event. The action will be streamed live from his studio in Paris this Friday (December 2nd). Running parallel to the live show, PokerStars will host an online viewers freeroll where €20,000 in cash prizes and an illustrious Platinum Pass – valued at $30,000 – will be up for grabs.

Twitch and YouTube Stars Introduce the French to the PSPC

25-year-old Gotaga – whose real name is Corentin Houssein – boasts 3.8 million followers on Twitch plus an additional 1.8 million on Twitter and 1.3 million Instagram followers. But PokerStars will enjoy yet further exposure as the star will be joined by a host of online sensations for the special streamed poker night.

Guests on the evening will include Twitch streamers Domingo (1.6 million followers) and Xari (400,000 followers). France’s number one streamer has also invited French Rap Singer, Rim’K, and YouTuber JOYCA (5.3 million YouTube subscribers). They will join the fun from 8 pm.

With PSPC just around the corner, this is one of the final chances to win one of the few remaining Platinum Passes and visit the Bahamas in January 2023. Worth $30,000, the pass package includes buy-in to the $25,000 PSPC, six nights of hotel accommodation for winners and guests in a five-star hotel, airport transfer and $1,900 to cover expenses.

A Brazilian Player Will Hit the Target

But the French celebrity-streamed poker night is not the last opportunity to win a trip to the Caribbean. Brazilian poker players will be given a chance to claim a fabled Platinum Pass on December 4th when a $1.10 PokerStars online tournament, restricted to poker fans residing in the South American county, will have one added to its prize pool.

On another continent, American players have, what PokerStars has described as “one last shot at winning a coveted PokerStars Platinum Pass” between December 8th and 11th at Resorts World Las Vegas.

The venue – which sits on the site of the old Stardust and became Las Vegas’s first new resort in over a decade when opening in 2021 – is hosting a $400 buy-in tournament featuring a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. A PokerStars Platinum Pass is an added bonus. It will be awarded to the first-place finisher.

King’s Casino Fan Zone and Party Time

December and January will be busy months for PokerStars live staff. Before Christmas, starting on December 8th, the final European Poker Tour leg of 2022 will take place in Prague. The 11-day festival consists of 54 tournaments staged inside King’s Casino at the Hilton Prague.

Huge numbers are predicted for all events where entry fees range from €440 to €50,000. But organizers are providing some nice free touches for players and their partners. Inside the hotel complex will be a World Cup fan zone where quarter-final, semi-final, and final action from Qatar will be broadcast. An additional player party is scheduled for December 11th.

At a more sedate pace and away from the venue, PokerStars has secured complimentary tickets for a Prague City Bus tour. The online poker site has also organized a river tour of Prague and is providing free transport to a popular tourist attraction, the Thrill Park Haunted House.
