Women in Poker Winter Festival 2024 – Many Tournaments & Events
If you’re starting to see Santa popping up on the Strip, it can mean only one thing. It’s once again time for the Women in Poker Winter Festival. Women In Poker and the Ladies International Poker Series have sponsored the week-long event, seeing increased interest each of the event’s past three years.

Women in Poker Hosts Winter Fantasy Event
This year’s Women in Poker event will take place from December 9th through 15th, with most of the action taking place at Resorts World Las Vegas. While the Women in Poker event is increasingly a draw in itself, the actual tournament events take place during the World Poker Tour World Championship in Las Vegas, ensuring a great turnout.
The World Poker Tour is proud to host its own ladies-only Quarter Million Dollar Guarantee tournament at the Wynn on the 14th and 15th, with a $100 buy-in. This year, they anticipate around 500 participants, surpassing last year’s 457 entrants and $440k prize pool. This growth is a testament to the increasing popularity of the WPT ladies-only event.
The Women in Poker Winter Festival is not just a series of tournaments. It’s a platform that celebrates women’s achievements in poker. With more than half a dozen women’s tournaments, meet and greets, educational symposiums, and the yearly induction into the Women in Poker’s exclusive Hall of Fame, it’s a testament to the influence of women in the poker world.
With women currently making up less than 3% of tournament fields, much work remains to raise awareness about women’s accomplishments in poker and the challenges and harassment they still face when sitting down to play the game with many of their male colleagues.
This event promises to unite women in a safe place, letting them talk about their personal successes and struggles and network with other women players. It will also celebrate the best of the best in 2024 with the HOF ceremony and promises some great poker in the process.
