Key Facts:

  • Austrian Based Greentube partners with Fanatics
  • Greentube has an impressive library of slot, video bingo, and table game titles.
  • The new games will initially roll out on Fanatics in Michigan and New Jersey

Those of a certain age will fondly remember Greentube for its 3D downhill skiing simulator, Ski Challenge, which ran from 2005 to about 2013. But the company has spent the last decade making top-notch video slots, bingo, and social casino-type games. The company also produces video table games and even live table games, and its games are well known throughout Austria, Germany, and most of northern Europe.

In 2011, Novomatic, another Austrian game developer, purchased the company outright since it operated as a wholly owned subsidiary under Greentube GMBH.

Hit titles include Apollo God Of The Sun, Book of Ra Deluxe, Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe, and Heart of Egypt. They also offer over ten table games, including Admiral Roulette, Admiral Blackjack, and Royal Crown Three Card Brag. Video poker offerings include Joker’s Wild, Jacks or Better, and fan favorite American Poker II, the Legend.

They’ve made no secret of their wish to expand further into the US and Canadian markets and have sought out distribution partners. They added Hard Rock Digital in November 2024, and Hard Rock Bets now has licensed Greentube content available on their New Jersey casino site.

In Canada, they have a subsidiary, Blue Bat Games, which has licensed content in British Columbia, Quebec, and Saskatchewan. Greentube has also partnered with Entain to provide their games in Ontario on Party Casino, Bwin, and BetMGM sites.

Their new partnership with Fanatics will allow Greentube even more access to growing markets in the US states of Michigan and New Jersey, as well as possibly other states like West Virginia and Pennsylvania down the road. The company is already active in Connecticut through different partnerships.

The company continues to fine-tune its North American product offering. It produces exclusive games just for players in this market, such as Barkin Clusters, Hit Me Baby, Wand Of Riches, and Piggy Prizes.

Greentube continues seeking new and diverse distribution partnerships with iGaming operators and even lottery providers throughout the US and Canada. The company recently rolled out lottery games in Washington, D.C., and Virginia and hopes to soon offer products in Michigan and Ontario.

Last month, The company partnered with SkillOnNet, one of Brazil’s largest online casino providers, to provide Greentube’s library of titles throughout the populous South American country under the PlayUZU.bet.br and BacanaPlay.bet.br brands.

This will allow access to more than 210 million players in that country and will allow further access to other South American markets in the near future.

So, you can certainly expect to hear more from Greentube as they continue to diversify in various online gaming-related fields across Europe, North America, and even LATAM.
