Held on the opening day of ICE at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, the 2025 Global Gaming Awards EMEA were an invite-only event that marked a spectacular start to the year’s most anticipated gaming exhibition.
“Congratulations to all the exceptional companies that were shortlisted this year, and an even bigger congratulations to our winners,” said Mariya Savova, Event Manager for the Global Gaming Awards. “The competition grows tougher every year. To be shortlisted is a tremendous honor, but to win is an outstanding achievement.”
Savova highlighted the integrity of the awards, emphasizing that the winners were selected by an independent panel of 50 senior industry executives, with KPMG in the Crown Dependencies overseeing the voting process. She also extended gratitude to the event’s sponsors, lead partner BetConstruct, and Clarion Gaming for providing a stunning new venue in Barcelona.
What sets the Global Gaming Awards apart is their rigorous merit-based selection process. Each nominee earns their spot through demonstrable achievements, a point of pride detailed in the official Shortlist magazine and show.

- Retail Operator of the Year (sponsored by Digitain): Superbet clinched the top spot, outpacing Allwyn and Tipico.
- Online Sports Betting Operator of the Year (sponsored by GR8 Tech): bet365 continued its reign, with Betano and Sky Bet completing the podium.
- Casino of the Year (sponsored by SPRIBE): The iconic Hippodrome Casino emerged victorious, edging out Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer and Casino Barcelona.
