UFC has announced the deal with NetBet will cover the UK and Ireland, as well as other European nations such as Greece, Italy and Romania.

The agreement immediately starts with the upcoming UFC Fight Night Event held on 22 March at London’s O2 Arena.

Leon Edwards v Sean Brady is the headline bout on the night, which is one of around 40 live events that the UFC will put on throughout 2025.

NetBet’s branding will be seen in the octagon itself on the night, and it will be featured on the UFC’s international broadcast feed, plus on its digital and social platforms. With UFC having around 300 million social media followers, the deal secures NetBet a high level of exposure.

Elite Betting Experience

Chief executive of NetBet, Marcel Prioteasa, said that the betting company is excited to be teaming up with the UFC.

In a statement, he said the aim of the partnership will be to bring together the “adrenaline-pumping action of the world’s premier mixed martial arts organisation with the elite betting experience our customers expect”.

Prioteasa added: “As we gear up for our biggest year yet in 2025, and with a loyal and growing MMA community, this partnership lets us bring fans even closer to the octagon with exciting new ways to engage with the sport they enjoy.”

While primarily a sports betting site, NetBet also runs an online casino. The site recently secured a deal with Swintt to add various casino games, including I Hate Fairytales, Clash of Heroes and Law of Gilgamesh, to its library.

Reputable Betting Partner

UFC is one of the fastest-growing sporting competitions in the world, with Europe a key target market for its continuing expansion.

Senior vice president and head of international business, Nicholas Smith, said: “As UFC continues to grow and expand across Europe, it’s great to bring on such a reputable betting partner who already has a strong, established UFC fanbase.”

“We couldn’t be kicking it off at a better time than with UFC Fight Night: Edwards v Brady, our marquee event this year in London, UK.”

UFC has more than 700 million fans around the world, with upcoming events in Mexico and the US. It last came to London in 2023 for UFC Fight Night: Aspinall vs. Tybura, although UFC 304: Edwards vs. Muhammad was held at Manchester’s new Co-op Live venue in July 2024.
