It’s time to saddle up: the prominent sports betting provider Kambi Group has signed an exclusive on-property sportsbook deal together with Nebraska’s WarHorse Gaming. LMG Gaming Received Kambi’s Backing in Puerto Rico Back in November 2022

Moving down further south now, Kambi Group announced all the way back in November 2022 that it was putting its full-throated support behind LMG Gaming (LMGG), owned by the Puerto Rican media business Liberman Media Group, for the at the time upcoming launch of its new sportsbook product on the island.

As is somewhat typical of Kambi’s deals, the provider will hand over its sportsbook technology to LMGG by powering LMGG’s ApuestaPR betting brand. LMGG will also have the opportunity to make use of Kambi’s application programming interface (APIs), along with a range of other attractive marketing tools.

Winter Horton, one of LMGG’s main partners, said that it had done extensive research into finding the best possible technology provider for the occasion, subsequently landing on Kambi and its world-famous suite of technology solution tools:

“After extensive research the choice was clear, Kambi is by far the best-in-class sportsbook in the industry and we are honored to build our business in Puerto Rico with them. With our top-rated Teleonce television network providing unlimited marketing and our key retail relationships, we are very confident that ApuestaPR will be the number one sports betting platform in Puerto Rico.”

Kristian Nylén, Kambi CEO and co-founder, sees major potential in the Puerto Rican market, expressing reassuring confidence that LMGG will be able to reach its desired audience in the unincorporated territory:

“Partnering with LMG Gaming is an exciting opportunity, as they are on a mission to create the most engaging sports betting product in Puerto Rico. By leveraging Kambi’s enhanced empowerment and marketing tools, alongside its popular Teleonce brand, LMG Gaming will be able to reach its target audience and drive player engagement through a bespoke betting experience.”
