Premium sports betting data supplier Genius Sports has entered into a promising new partnership with Canadian sports channel The Sports Network (TSN). According to the deal, Genius will furnish TSN’s streaming platform TSN+ with a proprietary data feed for all National Football League (NFL) games. Real-time overlays sent to TSN+ will include graphics and visualizations.
Precise Data Will Be Augmented Onto TSN+ Live Broadcasts
Good news for Canadian football fans: major sports betting data technology provider Genius Sports has announced that it has stepped into an exclusive partnership with the Canadian sports channel The Sports Network (TSN). Specifically, Genius will furnish TSN’s streaming platform, which is named TSN+, with its proprietary data feed for all upcoming National Football League (NFL) games.
The specifics of the agreement reveal that Genius will provide its real-time overlays to TSN+, which will feature the likes of graphics and visualizations, as well as its Next Gen Stats (NGS) data.
As of April 2021, the sports data business Genius Sports has in fact been acting as the official data partner of the professional football league. This agreement was only expanded to encompass streaming options specifically for US operators as recently as November 2022.
Sports fans can expect the NFL NGS data to be augmented onto the TSN+ live broadcast. What this will mean in actuality is that statistics, such as for example the number of passes completed in a game, as well as rushing, passing and receiving yards, will be displayed on the screen in real-time while the live action plays out. For those not yet aware, TSN is owned by telecommunications and media conglomerate BCE inc – more precisely via its broadcast arm known as Bell Media.
TSN+ Fans Will Now Be Able To Dive Deeper into World of NFL
The expansive deal between sports data technology provider Genius Sports and Canadian sports broadcaster The Sports Network’s TSN+ streaming service is sure to only deepen the viewing experience for Canadian sports fans, especially those passionate about football, with Bell Media Sports vice president Shawn Redmond promising fans a premium experience just in time for this year’s upcoming Super Bowl LVII:

Meanwhile, for its part, Genius Sports CEO Mark Locke claimed the business was deeply excited to be furnishing the streaming service with its real-time sports data product, tempting viewers with a deeper slice of the action:

Genius Sports Last Expanded its Partnership with NFL in December 2022
In other surprisingly recent Genius Sports news, the data provider announced in December 2022 that it was continuing to expand its running partnership with the National Football League (NFL), with football fans in the US now earning the ability to view and bet on select games.
Genius will now begin handing over its Watch & Bet service and expanded live video betting products to prominent sports wagering operators in the US. The first operator to take advantage of this new partnership will be Caesars Entertainment. Its many legions of fans and users will soon be able to bet on regular season and post-season NFL games from the comfort of their mobile phones and tablet devices.
Speaking on the matter was Caesars Digital president Eric Hession, who had some particularly glowing things to say about Genius Sports’ Watch & Bet service:

We’re thankful to bring an industry-leading new feature to our sports wagering app through our partnership with Genius Sports and the NFL.”– Eric Hession, President, Caesars Digital, Press Release
For Genius Sports’ part, chief executive Mark Locke hyped up the fact that a particularly engaging sports betting experience for fans is well on its way:
