Key Facts:

  • Buzz Bingo is working with Quadient to add parcel lockers to nearly three dozen clubs.
  • More Buzz Bingo clubs could receive parcel lockers in the future.
  • This is part of an ongoing effort to diversify bingo club offerings.

People who visit Buzz Bingo clubs will soon be able to pick up deliveries. This is thanks to a recent deal between Buzz Bingo and Quadient, an automation solutions provider. Quadient’s automated locker system, Parcel Pending, will come to 35 Buzz Bingo clubs.

This is the first phase of the deal. Buzz Bingo currently has 81 locations throughout the UK, and the plan is to add Quadient’s Parcel Pending lockers to the rest of the site in the near future. The brand is one of many in the industry looking to broaden its offerings.

Quadient’s Parcel Pending Lockers

Quadient’s Parcel Pending smart lockers accept both deliveries and returns from some of the biggest names in the postage industry. These include UPS, Evri, DPD and Royal Mail, among others. The lockers also support key drop-offs through KeyNest.

There are currently more than 20,000 installations worldwide, with the smart lockers achieving a user satisfaction rating of around 92%. They receive a combined total of 72 million package deliveries per year.

Quadient’s Director of Lockers Automation for Europe, Katia Bourgeais Crémel, has said the following about the partnership:

We’re thrilled to bring our intelligent lockers to Buzz Bingo clubs, offering a secure and user-friendly solution for parcel collection. This collaboration enhances the experience for Buzz Bingo members, encourages more visitors and supports sustainable last-mile delivery solutions. By making parcel delivery more accessible, we are also strengthening connections within local communities and look forward to seeing how this partnership evolves.Katia Bourgeais Crémel, Quadient, Quadient Director Comments on Buzz Bingo Partnership, Gambling Insider

Buzz Bingo Diversifying Its Offerings

The introduction of smart lockers to its bingo clubs is the latest act that Buzz Bingo has carried out as part of an effort to broaden its offerings. Bingo brands have been adopting other ways of generating revenue to keep themselves afloat financially.

Buzz Bingo has also been looking to increase its gaming offerings. The company recently partnered with the TV show Bullseye, which saw themed gaming experiences come to most of the brand’s clubs and website.
