Key Facts:
- One hundred bracelet events will make 2025’s World Series of Poker the largest series in history.
- The $10,000 WSOP Main Event will begin on July 2 and conclude on July 16.
- The series will be hosted at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas for a fourth time.

The full schedule for this summer’s World Series of Poker has been released. The action begins on May 27 with a $1,000 entry, Mystery Millions, which guarantees a $1 million bounty and a first-place prize of at least $1 million. One hundred gold bracelets will be awarded across the entire WSOP festival.
The headline WSOP Main Event begins on July 2 and will conclude on July 16. Its entry fee is $10,000, which has remained unchanged since 1972. Thirty of 2025’s live events have an entry fee of $10,000 or more, including a $250,000 Super High Roller.
Thirteen tournaments have an entry fee of $800 or less. The Gladiators of Poker No Limit Hold’em is the most reasonably priced. The $300 competition attracted 20,647 entries in 2024, giving six players a six-figure payday. Its winner collected $401,210.
A Battle of the Ages With Added Omaha
There are no significant changes to the World Series schedule in 2025. The Horseshoe Las Vegas (formerly Bally’s) and Paris Las Vegas host the World Series of Poker for a fourth time. Popular tournaments such as Mystery and Seniors events remain commonplace, and many events will be televised.

A new Battle of the Ages tournament should provide plenty of entertainment and be the subject of much speculation. The $1,000 Hold’em competition will see players aged 50-plus (seniors) play on Day 1A and under-50s compete on Day 1B. Thereafter, the field will merge on Day 2.
WSOP officials have recognised the increasing popularity of Omaha. For the first time, the 2025 series schedule features a $100,000 entry High Roller Omaha tournament. $25,000 is required to play event 14 on the WSOP schedule. It is a PLO/NLH Mixed 8-Handed event, which last year cost $600 to play.
2024 also featured the first-ever bomb pot tournament, a Mixed No-Limit Hold’em/Pot-Limit Omaha Double Board Bomb Pot. Its $1,500 entry fee remains unchanged in 2025, but the game will be Omaha only this year.
Something for Everyone, Including New WSOP Owner
“We had hoped to continue to break records last year, and we did – the WSOP Main Event was bigger than ever,” said Ty Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of WSOP.
“In 2025, the WSOP schedule is better again, with something for everyone who loves the game. There’s nothing like summer in Las Vegas, and we’re ready to welcome players to the biggest and best WSOP of all time!”
In August 2024, weeks after the WSOP’s conclusion, Caesars Entertainment announced the sale of the Series to NSUS Group Inc., an investment group and online poker site GGPoker’s operator. The purchase price was $500 million, with half paid in cash and the balance due in five years.
As a part of the deal, Caesars secured the rights to continue hosting the WSOP’s flagship live tournament series at its Las Vegas casinos for the next 20 years. The event was staged at the Rio Hotel close to the Las Vegas Strip between 2005 and 2021.
Since 2022, Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas have jointly staged the event. 2024’s World Series of Poker main event attracted a record 10,112 players – when Jonathan Tamayo took its $10 million first prize in controversial circumstances.
