Tangobet Set for UK Launch by End of 2024
A new online betting site is coming to the UK, with Tangobet set to launch by the end of 2024.
Aristocrat Interactive and Digital Knights have confirmed they are joining forces to deliver Tangobet, which is also being targeted at MGA markets as well.
Tangobet will be built using Aristocrat’s Player Account Management (PAM) platform and its sportsbook, in addition to a suite of other managed services that the company provides.
Managing director of Aristocrat Interactive iGaming White-Label Jonathan Chilton explained in a statement that the deal with Digital Knights “aligns perfectly with our strategic objectives”, with regulated markets in Europe the goal.
He added: “Our premium technology and comprehensive managed services will empower the new Digital Knights brand to thrive, offering an exceptional iGaming experience to players.”
No firm date has been set for the launch of Tangobet, but the aim is for the new UK online betting site to be ready to welcome customers in the final quarter of the year.
Excellence and Innovation
Tangobet’s impending launch between October and December will add a further online sports betting option for customers in the UK.
Chief executive of Digital Knights Volkan Aktar described Aristocrat Interactive as being “renowned for its excellence and innovation”, which is why the deal was made.
In a statement to announce the new online betting site, he added, “We are excited to unveil TangoBet to the industry, backed by their robust and scalable platform. Utilising our own experience in the market and with their support, we are certain that TangoBet will captivate players with a wide range of betting options and unparalleled service.”
The Digital Knights team boasts a top software development partner network with more than 10,000 developers being screened by the company, which has also vetted over 500 product experts.
Latest Step for Aristocrat
The news of the upcoming launch of Tangobet is the latest headline to have been made in the industry as a result of moves by Aristocrat’s online Real Money Gaming (RMG) division.
It was recently confirmed that Aristocrat had formed a new partnership with the UK-based online sports betting operator Vickers.Bet.
Under the terms of the deal, Vickers.Bet has started to use Aristocrat Interactive’s iGaming and sports solution.
With the capture of Vickers.Bet becoming the maiden UK deal for the iGaming white-label division at Aristocrat Interactive and the launch of Tangobet set to follow suit, the company certainly appears to be one to watch.
