Puerto Rico Launches Lotto App
Puerto Rico has announced the launch of an exciting new product to its lottery scene: an app for playing electronic lotto called Jackpocket Lottery App. This app will be available to all who can already bet legally in the territory. It is also the first territory outside of the contiguous US states to have access to the app. With it downloaded, players can access both electronic lottery and Powerball.
Puerto Ricans can now enjoy lotto tickets from their phone with Jackpocket.

Jackpocket comes to Puerto Rico
Jackpocket originated in the United States. The application for playing the electronic lottery is already available in some US states, but it has not yet been made accessible in Puerto Rico. Now players there can also enjoy the app, which allows for the buying of lotto tickets from mobile phone devices.
Puerto Rico has many popular lottery games already. These include Powerball, the Pega series and Loto Cash. Many of these are available on the Jackpocket app for new or experienced lotto players. The app works by ordering the ticket for the buyer and sending it through to an authorized seller.
This is a different approach to buying and operating lotto tickets than what Puerto Ricans have been privy to before. The CEO of Jackpocket spoke about the development there in positive terms, sharing that he hopes it will be considered a convenient addition to the territory’s lottery scene.
Peter Sullivan went on to say that the goal of the company is to make the lottery safe and fun for everyone involved. Proceeds from specific games are already determined by Puerto Rican law on regulating gambling. In the case of the games on this app, money will continue to be funneled into specific social programs there.
New players also have an incentive to try playing with Jackpocket. Everyone who downloads the app in Puerto Rico will get a credit worth $2 USD. This can be redeemed with a code and is easy to redeem.
In general, the app makes playing lotto quite easy. Rather than going to a seller in person and dealing with paper tickets, which also take time to fill out and wait for results, buyers of tickets on the app can select from many different types of games instantly.
They can compare prizes and draw times and quickly fill out their winning numbers. They also get notices if and when they win on any of the tickets they have bought. This means that players will no longer have to go out of their way to participate in lotteries.
Some payouts can even be made directly through the app, though only up to a certain amount of money ($1200 at the time of writing). Larger wins can be claimed through the Puerto Rico Electronic Lottery, the official provider of these games.
Jackpocket also introduces some innovative features which promise to change the face of lotto playing. The idea of Powerball Pools will allow players to team up with others across Puerto Rico. Pools can increase chances of wins, but also will give access to exclusive offers and gifts created especially by Jackpocket.
The app also includes important consumer protection features like spending limits, daily time tracking and deposit limits. Automatic orders can be suspended, too. The app also shares info for responsible gaming help.
