Pragmatic Play Partners With DoradoBet
In the latest announcement from Pragmatic Play, the company has struck yet another deal in Latin America, this time bringing its live casino to DoradoBet. Most recently, DoradoBet partnered with another international gambling company: Booongo. The terms of Pragmatic Play and DoradoBet’s arrangement differs from that of DoradoBet and Booongo. Could it be because of the countries where the companies will launch together? Or is there something else at play?
DoradoBet and Pragmatic Play
In late May, DoradoBet and Pragmatic Play announced that they would be collaborating to host all of Pragmatic Play’s live casino options on the DoradoBet platform. At the time of the announcement, the deal had already gone live, meaning that DoradoBet users throughout Latin America can access any of Pragmatic Play’s live casino options.
Why Just Live Casino?
For those wondering why Pragmatic Play has not brought different verticals to DoradoBet, the answer is simple: the companies have already partnered before. According to a spokesperson from Pragmatic Play, the company had already made its slots available via DoradoBet.
In fact, according to Victor Arias, who heads up the Latin American hub for Pragmatic Play, the launch of Pragmatic Play’s slots on DoradoBet’s site has been so successful that the companies were eager to continue their partnership. That’s why both are now expanding their relationship to bring Pragmatic Play’s live casino options to DoradoBet.
The Games Coming To DoradoBet
Though DoradoBet already hosts all of Pragmatic Play’s virtual slots, including titles like Thor Megaways, Wild Booster, Phoenix Forge, Cash Elevator, Buffalo King Megaways, Temujin Treasures, Gates of Olympus, and The Hand of Midas, players using DoradoBet will be excited to see a whole spate of new games coming their way.
Pragmatic Play’s live casino options allow users at desktops, smartphones, and even VR technologies to access live dealers, bringing a taste of Las Vegas to their homes around the world. This includes blackjack, roulette, a Wheel of Fortune-style Mega Wheel, and unique versions of blackjack and roulette called ONE Blackjack and Mega Roulette.
What Is DoradoBet?
DoradoBet is an online gambling platform with headquarters in Peru, but it’s active in multiple countries in Latin America. DoradoBet’s parent company is Virtualsoft, which is based in Spain. Virtualsoft also has a wide user base in Colombia. As such, Pragmatic Play will be able to expand its reach in all of these markets.
DoradoBet Is Growing Its Portfolio
DoradoBet’s recent expanded alliance with Pragmatic Play is just the latest deal for the Peruvian company. Earlier in the same month, officials from DoradoBet announced that they were partnering with Booongo, a Curaçao-based games developer celebrated for its Hold and Win series.
With DoradoBet, Pragmatic Play Will Expand In Peru, Spain, and Colombia
Pragmatic Play’s expanded relationship with DoradoBet means that gamers in Colombia, Peru, and Spain will be able to access even more content from the rapidly-growing gaming platform, which is based in Malta. This is far from Pragmatic Play’s first Latin American ventures: in fact, the last year has seen the company expand dramatically there.
Pragmatic Play in Colombia
As anyone looking to expand into the Latin American gambling industry knows, a good relationship with Colombian regulators — known as Coljuegos — is crucial. Pragmatic Play has partnered with multiple companies in Colombia over the last year, bringing its popular games portfolio around the Latin American country.
One of the more recent deals to come from Pragmatic Play in the Colombian gambling market was a partnership with BetPlay, which was announced in February of 2021. Prior to that, Pragmatic Play had also established distribution arrangements with Zamba and Luckia in November of 2020.
The decision to establish strong relationships with online gambling operators in Colombia is a wise one, particularly as COVID-19 cases continue to surge in Latin America, encouraging countries to reinstate unforgiving lockdown measures. In Colombia, tensions have been exacerbated by massive protests in early May inspired by a proposed tax hike.
Pragmatic Play in Peru
At the same time, Pragmatic Play has been consistently striking new business arrangements in Peru. In 2021 alone, Pragmatic Play has announced two different Peruvian dealings: first, with Solbet, which went live in late January, and then with Aposta365, revealed at the end of March.
In Peru, officials have elected to extend a national state of emergency as recently as May 28, 2021. According to reports about the decision, COVID-19 cases in the Latin American country have continued to spike. Peru has consistently been in an official state of emergency since March 2020.
The Deals Start Coming And They Don’t Stop Coming
In the month of May 2021 alone, Pragmatic Play has been consistently living up to its promise to expand in Latin America. In early March, Pragmatic Play partnered with a Brazilian gaming platform, Jogos Da Sorte. About a week later, the company aligned with Juega en Linea, which has outposts throughout the continent.
