Mohegan Becomes Latest Member of IBIA
Casino and sportsbook operator Mohegan, which is also formally known as Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE), has announced that it is set to become the latest member of the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA). The operator will now work closely together with the IBIA and its wide network of members in the effort to protect sports integrity.

Becoming Member of International Betting Integrity Association Allows Mohegan to Stay Ahead of Gaming Trends
Casino and sportsbook provider Mohegan, whose full formal name is Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE), has revealed that it is set to become the latest business to attain the status of member of the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA). Now holding all privileges of being an approved member, Mohegan will move onto collaborating closely together with the IBIA and its vast network of members with the goal of protecting sports integrity.
First founded in 1996, Mohegan acts as the extension of the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut. It is simultaneously the owner, developer and manager of gambling and entertainment resorts across the US, Canada, and Northern Asia, while also offering online gambling via its Mohegan Digital brand.
To mark its entrance into the esteemed International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), Mohegan president and chief executive Ray Pineault emphasized the growing importance of both digital gaming/iGaming and sports wagering in the years to come:

IBIA Recently Announced a Memorandum of Understanding with the German Sports Betting Association
For its part, chief executive of the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), Khalid Ali, sees the addition of Mohegan to the IBIA’s members as a huge boon to the organization’s efforts:

Ali went on to note how the organization happily welcomes in operators like Mohegan, praising their commitment to forwarding the cause of gambling integrity worldwide:
“IBIA welcomes the support for, and commitment of, companies like Mohegan to betting integrity and to working in partnership with our leading monitoring network covering many of the largest regulated operators in the world.”
The International Betting Integrity Association just recently gained the support of another major gambling body, the German Sports Betting Association (DSWV), in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding. According to the arrangement, the DSWV and IBIA will now work in partnership and coordinate their activities on betting and related integrity issues specifically in Germany.
Mohegan Launched Platform in Canadian Province of Ontario in September 2022
In other news related to casino and gambling operator Mohegan, the mostly US-based operator recently entered the Canadian market in spectacular fashion, revealing the launch of its new online gambling platform in the Canadian province of Ontario in September 2022, run largely through its Fallsview Casino Resort.
Sporting the name PlayFallsview, the platform will grant Ontario-based players the ability to put down online wagers on a wealth of different professional sports, as well as furnish them with access to online internet casino games.
Mohegan’s director of products, Todd Stender, praised the company’s partners for supporting it, singling out Pala Interactive and Kambi in particular, while also reminding that live dealer games will be provided by its partner Evolution:

Mohegan Named New Legal Chief in April 2022
And back in April 2022, Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) announced the appointment of Raymond Lin as its new chief legal officer, with the new hire being tasked with advising executive management on legal matters concerning a range of commercial transactions, regulatory issues, international and domestic policy-making decisions.
Lin will also be responsible for spearheading the legal, compliance and risk management teams, in order to ensure that all current, future and strategic matters act in the best interest of MGE and the Mohegan Tribe.
Chief executive Ray Pineault boasted Lin’s extensive pedigree in a shared statement:
