Luxembourg Lottery Tech Expected to Be Supplied by IGT

International Game Technology, also known as IGT, has signed a deal with Luxembourg’s national lottery, Loterie Nationale. It will see the company supply the country’s lottery with the latest technology and gaming systems over a 10-year period. It also includes an overhaul of the lottery’s current tech.
OMNIA and Other Solutions
As part of the deal, IGT will implement OMNIA, a fully integrated lottery solution. It’s a specially designed package of advanced systems that seamlessly merges the retail and digital experiences and enhances both of them. In other words, it modernizes the lottery experience for players.
People should find it easier and more convenient to purchase lottery tickets. Thanks to OMNIA’s data analysis, the lottery itself should be able to gain more accurate and timely insights into customer habits. The lottery will, therefore, be able to analyze trends and introduce changes more quickly.
Then there’s the iLottery system, which is fully integrated into OMNIA. This is a useful part of OMNIA that offers a range of benefits, including flexible scalability, quicker market access and some features that promote and help tackle responsible gambling.
As well as integrating OMNIA into the lottery’s operations, IGT will supply a suite of units to be used in various retail locations. These include the Retailer Pro, which was recently updated, along with GameTouch and GameTouch Draw S2, which are self-operated vending machines.

IGT has worked with Loterie Nationale for around two decades, and the relationship has been fruitful and productive. Loterie Nationale has been delighted with IGT’s work and how the gambling company has benefitted Luxembourg’s lottery so far.

IGT is a major supplier of lottery solutions. The company provides eight of the world’s 10 biggest lotteries with its tech as well as 16 of the biggest 25. Its solutions are being used in more than 100 territories and it currently has around 11,000 employees in offices around the world.
