Awarding the Best Gambling Suppliers and Operators in Barcelona
Shortlists for the Global Gaming Awards have been set. Winners of the various categories will be confirmed at ICE 2025 in Barcelona. Both software providers and gambling operators will compete for awards in different categories.
Structure and Schedule – 16 Categories and Three Major Events
The shortlists for the Global Gaming Awards Europe, Middle East & Africa have been finalised. Companies in the running for one of the top prizes will be contacted within the next couple of weeks, it was confirmed by the event’s organisers.
Barcelona will be the host city for the awards ceremony, which will take place as part of the key industry event ICE 2025 at the start of the year. There are 16 categories, but the full shortlists are not ready to be published.
Senior industry executives are involved in deciding which companies should be nominated, which is why the Global Gaming Awards are among the most respected on the planet. Fairness is then assured by KPMG in the Crown Dependencies, verifying the voting process.
Following the Global Gaming Awards Europe, Middle East & Africa, which will take place in January 2025, the Asia-Pacific region will get its turn in Manila in June. Then, the last Global Gaming Awards event of the year is set to take place in October in Las Vegas in the USA.
Taking Companies To The Next Level
Event manager of the Global Gaming Awards, Mariya Savova, congratulated the nominees.
“Informing companies that they are one of the ten best in their field and they have been shortlisted for the Global Gaming Awards is always one of the highlights of my year,” she said.
“Well done to those who successfully made it to this year’s Shortlist, we know this accolade will help to push your company to the next level, and we are looking forward to celebrating with you in our new home in Barcelona.”
Furthermore, BetConstruct has been confirmed as the lead partner of the Global Gaming Awards Europe, Middle East & Africa event.
London Replaced As Host Venue
The Spanish city of Barcelona takes over as the host of the Global Gaming Awards Europe, Middle East & Africa with London replaced.
Last year, the winners of the awards were revealed at an event at The Hippodrome Casino, which has been the host venue for seven years in a row. While it was an invite-only affair, the awards ceremony was also live-streamed online.
Fira Barcelona Gran Via will host the event in 2025, on the first day of the ICE 2025 gathering which runs from January 20-22.
Self-nominations for this year’s Global Gaming Awards Europe, Middle East & Africa ran until October 1, with 10 firms being nominated in each of the categories.
