SBC Starts a New Chapter With Its 2025 Summit Event
SBC’s CasinoBeats Summit is undergoing a key change for 2025.
Key Facts:
- SBC’s CasinoBeats Summit being rebranded to SBC Summit Malta for 2025 and beyond
- The rebranding marks the start of a progressive new chapter for the event
- Shifting focus from just casino games to all kinds of gaming
The SBC CasinoBeats Summit will take place in Malta in June 2025, but it will have a new name: SBC Summit Malta. This is part of the conference and exhibition’s attempt to usher in a new progressive chapter that will expand the range of game types it covers.
In previous years, the CasinoBeats Summit focused on the aspects of developing games and marketing them. It would hold a series of talks and workshops that offered insights into the process of creating casino games and launching them, often with a very technical focus.
For 2025 and going forward, casino games will still feature heavily, but other types of gaming will start to be included. Also, the CasinoBeats Summit’s Game Developer Awards will be rebranded the SBC Awards Europe and will have a greater variety of categories.
Like the event as a whole, the awards will still highlight casino games, but they will allow other types of games a moment to shine.
According to Rasmus Sojmark, the founder and CEO of SBC, the 2025 event ‘
… represents a step forward in our mission to create comprehensive events that serve the entire gaming community.– Rasmus Sojmark, SBC Founder and CEO, SBC CEO Comments on 2025 Event Changes
He also explained how the company is very much committed to hosting its event in Malta. The event itself is designed to empower and motivate attendees by offering them plenty of opportunities to make new business connections and gain valuable insights from others.
Details of the 2025 Event
As well as casino games, the SBC Summit Malta will feature talks on the sports betting industry, payment systems and affiliate programs. There will also be talks covering market summaries and regulatory measures. For those looking to improve their revenue, a range of useful workshops will be held.
These workshops will cover topics such as technology, preventing bonus abuse, game design and how to acquire and retain VIP players. They will also look at the most recent trends in SEO – something that many businesses should be particularly interested in.
Around 5,500 delegates are expected to attend. Of these, 2,000 will be people representing different operators from a number of fields, including product development and payment management. There will also be around 750 affiliates in attendance, representing a recent growth in the affiliate marketing sector.
Another key change for this year’s event will be its layout. The show floor space has been redesigned so that exhibitors and sponsors can attract attention more effectively. They should, therefore, stand a better chance of forming new connections with key industry figures.
SBC’s Global Events
This year’s event has been enhanced to align with SBC’s other global events. The company will hold annual events covering the Brazilian, North, South American and Eastern European markets, and its flagship event will be held in Lisbon.
Revamping the Malta event to make it about gaming and not just gambling lines it up with SBC’s other industry-leading events. This should strengthen SBC’s position as a leader of gaming industry conferences and improve its reputation as a provider of opportunities for gaming companies and professionals.
