Brittney Payton Joins RSI as Ambassador
Sportsbook operator Rush Street Interactive has revealed that it has signed on Chicago television personality Brittney Payton as its latest brand ambassador and content creator. Payton, who is also the daughter of Chicago Bears legend Walter Payton, will promote the operator’s BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse brands in the key markets of Illinois and Arizona.
Payton to Appear in BetRivers TV and Radio Commercials, Podcasts
Prominent online casino and sports betting operator Rush Street Interactive has announced that it has signed on Chicago television personality Brittney Payton as its latest brand ambassador and content creator.
Payton, who also happens to be the daughter of Chicago Bears legend Walter Payton, will be tasked with working with Rush Street’s Bet Rivers and PlaySugarHouse brands. She is expected to promote the brands in the key markets of Illinois and Arizona, doing so by creating sports betting and cultural content, as well as by appearing in commercials.
For those unfamiliar with Payton’s pedigree – she is the co-host of WGN-TV’s Chicago’s Best. But she is perhaps best known across the United States for presenting the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award at the Super Bowl each year.
Payton is set to feature in BetRivers TV and radio commercials, podcasts, and social media interviews. She will also be creating content for her own social media platforms.
Payton will Bring Pop Culture Spin to Rush Street’s Brands
Mattias Setz, who is the chief operating officer of Chicago-based Rush Street Interactive, celebrated the addition of Brittney Payton to the operator’s branding strategy, claiming her involvement in pop and sports culture will prove to be a strong asset for Rush Street:

Rush Street Interactive Launched Own Podcast in September 2021
Back in September 2021, online gaming provider Rush Street Interactive (RSI) announced the launch of its very own audio and video podcast platform entitled CityCasts.
The main point of the CityCasts podcast is to help bettors make more informed decisions by providing them with the latest news, expert analysis and profound insight, airing on weekdays across multiple popular podcast and media platforms.
The CityCasts podcast initially launched for bettors living in major cities such as Detroit, Chicago, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, with plans to spread further into cities such as New York, Denver, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles in the near future.
Richard Swartz, who was appointed as Rush Street’s latest CEO only in August 2021, described the operator’s CityCasts podcast initiative as being in line with its Hometown Sportsbook strategy:

Chicago Bears Signed Betting Partnership with Rush Street in June
In June 2021, the world-renowned American football franchise the Chicago Bears announced its first-ever sports betting partners, with the NFL team signing an exclusive partnership deal with none other than Rush Street Interactive.
Rush Street’s BetRivers brand will now have its signage prominently displayed inside of the Bears’ stadium, Soldier Field, as part of the exclusive deal, as well as in additional print, social and digital materials. BetRivers will also become the title partner of the team’s customized Free to Play Game on the official Chicago Bears mobile application.
Chicago Bears president and chief executive Ted Phillips promised Bears fans new and engaging ways to interact with the team as a result of its deal with Rush Street:
