UK Tote Tightens Links to BetMakers with Renewed Deal
BetMakers has confirmed UK Tote has agreed to use its Quantum software tech, strengthening the company’s links to the sport of horse racing.

Australian company BetMakers Technology Group already had a contract with UK Tote, but the two parties have agreed to extend their commitment through to 2029.
The longstanding partnership has been sealed via subsidiaries Global Tote US LLC and Racing Technology Ireland Ltd (Global Tote).
UK Tote is the operator of the country’s tote pool betting system and is responsible for providing services to several of Britain and Ireland’s best-known racecourses.
Delighted With Deal
BetMakers Technology Group chief executive Jake Henson said the company is “delighted” to have secured an extension to its deal with UK Tote.
Henson described UK Tote as “both an iconic brand and a key player in pool betting around the world” in a statement.
He added: “Central to this position has been developing many key World Pool events which BetMakers and Global Tote proudly play an integral role in facilitating.
“Our team looks forward to working with the UK Tote Group to grow the reach of UK and Irish racing into new markets while enhancing the wagering experiences of existing partners. By leveraging the BetMakers network of global regulated racing partners we will deliver new liquidity to domestic pools and drive strong returns to racing.”
B2B provider BetMakers, regarded as one of the most reliable companies in its area, offers support for licensed betting operators in over 30 countries.
Excellent Partners
UK Tote also released a statement following the announcement of the deal with BetMakers, which has offices in the UK even though its headquarters are in Australia.
Chief product and technology officer at the UK Tote Group, Phill Jones, described BetMakers as “excellent partners” and said he is “excited” to be renewing the partnership all the way through to 2029.
Jones added: “The Quantum solution provided by BetMakers plays a critical role in how we host and deliver racing pools wagering across 85 racecourses in the UK and Ireland, both on course and via our mobile apps and website. “
