Betano Makes Moves in Brazil and Chile

Kaizen Gaming’s international online brand Betano has joined a new partner in Brazil, Scout Gaming, which is a provider of B2B daily fantasy sports as well as traditional sports betting. Betano has also recently announced a sponsorship deal of Chile’s famed soccer club Deportes La Serena.

Betano’s Fantasy Sports Expansion

Betano’s new partnership with Scout Gaming means Betano will have access to new products from Scout Gaming. Specifically, Betano customers in Brazil will benefit from Scout Gamin’s fantasy sports and fantasy player odds products. This is the first time Brazilian Betano customers will have access to fantasy sports on their desktops and mobile devices.

In a recent press release, Andreas Sundal, Chief Product Officer at Scout Gaming, said:

“We are extremely proud to be able to increase our global reach with our fantasy and sportsbook products by entering the Brazilian market together with our valuable partner Kaizen Gaming. South America is a highly interesting market when it comes to both fantasy and sports betting, and we are very happy to be working with Betano, one of the most established and popular brands in the market. This forms part of wider efforts to grow our product range and enter more markets.”

Betano already offers fans a wide range of services, as their parent company Kaizen Gaming is a leader in online gaming technology. Betano services Brazil as well as other Latin American countries, and many others around the globe. The company’s team seems eager to expand their offerings through strategic partnerships like this one.

In the same press release, Kaizen’s Sportsbook Product Manager, John Tsakalakis, said:

“We want to offer our players the most comprehensive sportsbook experience, and the addition of fantasy sports and fantasy player odds from Scout Gaming allows us to do just that. Betano is led by the spirit of continuous improvement and devotion to partnerships that matter in the long run. We are excited to expand our partnership with Scout Gaming in LATAM, a region that we strengthen our presence day by day. We look forward to leveraging the full potential of its award-winning products while also keep offering the best experience to those who trust us for their entertainment.”

Key Sponsorships Drive Business in Chile and Brazil

In June of this year, Betano made another step in Brazil by sponsoring the soccer club Fluminense. Now, they have announced a new sponsorship, this time with Chile’s iconic soccer team Deportes La Serena. Deportes La Serena has been around since 1955 and is now ranked in Chile’s premier league.

The team’s president Cristian Contador shared his enthusiasm for Betano’s interest, saying it showed to him that the team is “on the right track.”

Betano chief marketing officer Panos Konstantopoulos was similarly positive, seeing the plus sides for both the club and Betano in this mutually beneficial arrangement for fans, players, and the company.

In a press release, he shared: “This sponsorship highlights our strong commitment to the Chilean market, we are determined to continue demonstrating it through our sustained support of Chilean sports and society.”

Kaizen, through their label Betano and others, have been improving their visibility in the global sports arena through such deals and is currently heralded as one of Europe’s fastest-growing gaming providers. The company offers casino games, iGaming content, and online betting. Sports partnerships like this one seem to point to an increased interest in sportsbetting across Latin America and the world.
