Blackjack Players’ Choice Review – Choose Your Destiny

Last Update: 25/11/2020

If you decide to play Blackjack Players’ Choice online, an intro animation will lead you through a virtual casino to your table. One look at the graphics and you’ll be sure you made the right decision. However, this won’t be the most important choice you make when playing 1×2 Gaming’s fun take on blackjack. The provider has given you control over both your, and the dealer’s fates. This control comes from the power to choose the hands that you and the dealer have to play with for the duration of the game. This decision-filled version is perfect for punters who like a classic, but are open to minor updates. In this Blackjack Players’ Choice review I will discuss all the aspects of the variant.

Blackjack Players’ Choice Rules and Features

This section of the page will discuss why the Blackjack Players’ Choice rules make it unique. Players’ Choice is a variant of classic 21, so those of you familiar with the rules of blackjack should be familiar with most of what I will discuss. However, if you are new to blackjack, check out my guide to the basic rules. The guide will explain all there is to know about the game and clarify some of the terminology that is used in this section of my review. Like in other variants, the objectis to add your hand together to get a higher point value than the dealer. The magic number is 21, but if you exceed 21, you bust. The game is played with eight decks. While this number seems high, it is because in this game, you (the player), get to pick your own hand from a possible five. If you don’t like your first choice, then you can choose one more time. Afterwards, you get to select what hand the dealer is forced to play with. This adds an uncommon feeling of control that is absent from most blackjack variants. If that doesn’t already sound appealing, the game also tells you the values of each of the five hands dealt so that you have an idea about your chances.

The dealer must stand on any hand valued 18 or more. After that, there are straightforward rules. There is no splitting, doubling, insurance, or surrender. It’s just you, the dealer, your initial bet and the (players) choice you make. It pays 6:5 for blackjack and 1:1 for any other win. Because there are no other betting options, those are the only two payouts you need to worry about. The return to player (RTP) based on the best strategy is 98.37%. As previously stated, rather than a complete overhaul to a tried and tested classic, this title is more of a facelift, and a welcomed one. It does have beautiful chip and dealer animations that, when added to the optional features, make for one fun spin on a classic casino game.

Play for Real Money
