Pharaohs Casino:

This Pharaohs Casino review is outdated - the casino I reviewed has closed down.

After hearing that Pharaoh's Casino had replaced their old Boss Media software with the latest Microgaming casino software I realized it was time that I dropped them yet another visit to get Online-Casinos.com and this Pharaohs Casino review up to date.

Pharaoh's Casino has been in the business since 1999, and has managed to build up and maintain a respectable reputation. Pharaoh's Casino is now boasting that it is the hottest casino on the net. The visual graphics on Home Page, with a picture of one of the most famous entombed Kings, Tutankhamen, more commonly known as "King Tut" are enticing. It makes going to the Home Page a treat for the eyes. Mystery and intrigue abound with the story of one of the most lucrative Egyptian finds in history. You can't help feeling that treasure awaits you.

I clicked on the Casino Flash button and quickly signed up with a $100 deposit using one of the many online payment options. Safe, secure and user friendly. I did choose to download the casino program later (It took a full 40 minutes due to my slow dial-up connection). I also tried out the new language options. English first, but out of a possible 5 other choices, I picked French content. (That took another 5 minutes to download but worked well)

Then I was off to the American Roulette Table. I bet on "Even" and won $2 on the first spin. Then again on "Even" and won another $2. Then I doubled my bet and lost. It was still fun. Roulette is my favorite game ever since I was a kid playing with my brothers and sisters on a "toy version".

The Crap Table was another favorite. I won on the first 3 rolls and couldn't take my eyes off the red dice. My luck changed and after a total of 12 throws I stopped. I was considerably down in funds and decided to move on.

I was lucky at the Classic Multi-hand Black Jack. Table. Pays 3:2. Five deck game. I won the first 2 hands. I eagerly anticipated my next good hand and good fortune with every slap of the card the dealer put down. I won again. I was back up. I next tried the European Back Jack table that had a minimum $2 bet. Pays 3 to 2. Double deck game. I lost both hands. A bit too expensive for my taste. I was ready to move on to other games but I knew I would be back for the "Classic".

I tried the Baccarat Table. Single deck game. Tie pays 8 to 1. The first deal was a tie but then I lost. I tried a few more hands. I broke even in the end. The visuals were first-rate and so was the ease in playing but with the minimum bet of $10 it was also high for my pocket book.

Fiesta Slot Progressive Jackpot is a visual feast for the eyes. 3 Reel. 3 Payline. Play up to 3 coins. As with many of the games there are quick-read and simple pop-up instructions in order to play the game properly. For example it states that the Fiesta symbol is wild and completes any winning combination. Very user-friendly. Progressive Jack Pot is only available on MAX BET. Although I did win, spin after spin proved to get me down in the dumps by a considerable amount.

I tried Pharaoh's Fortune Slot. 2.500 coin jackpot. This is a classic slot. 3 Reel, One Payline. Play up to 3 coins. I won 3 out of 7 spins. Not bad!

After more strolling through the Pharaoh's site I decided to try Treasure Nile, another Progressive Jackpot. 5 Reel, 9 Payline. Play up to 9 coins. Scatter and Wild Symbol Feature. Fiesta Slot images must have triggered my hunger pains and since Treasure Nile was taking a while to download I went and made a snack. After a sea of choices in the online-gaming world it hit me that for a casino with the name Pharaoh and supposedly an Egyptian theme, there wasn't much that specifically related to that. When I came back to the game, I realized that Treasure Nile was the exception. The realistic sound effects of water lapping and birds singing made it a treat to sit in front of my computer. It felt like jungle life right before my very eyes. On my first spin I won $9.00, second spin $2.00 then $.50 then well it was time to take a safari. I will remember the line configuration patterns and interesting ways to win which I found fun. I will be back.

At Pharaoh's it is worth checking out the range of promotions to celebrate Pharaoh's Casino's launch. As with many online casinos new players are offered a fantastic 100% match-up bonus on their first deposit. These match-ups can be in $ as well as Euros and British Pounds; interestingly the 100 figure remains the same even as the currency changes. Don't forget to read the Deposit Bonus Full Terms and Conditions before you decide if you want this bonus at all. (I chose not to) If you receive the bonus money you will have to wager a certain amount of money before you are allowed to cash out your deposit.

Also note that specific rules apply to certain nationalities. The casino, "regrets that due to promotional abuse by a large number of players originating from Russia, Denmark, Israel and the UK the wagering requirement will need to be at least 50 times the value of their Welcome Bonus prior to cashing in." The terms and conditions list was long, as many as 18 points. Besides this offer doesn't apply if you have received a welcome bonus from any casino operated by Naden. You can click on a list to find out which ones.

Pharaoh's Casino offers loyalty points. Every player gets 1 point for every $1 wagered playing Slots, Keno and Scratch Games and 1 point for every $2.50 wagered for all other games.

PayOut Reports are archived on the website and it only takes a click to see reports as far back as November 2006.

Pharaoh's has some of the biggest progressive jackpots to be found on the net! I heard "ka-ching" as I watched the dollar amounts climb with Fiesta and Treasure Nile.

Out of curiosity regarding the offer of 24/7 online support, I decided to try it and called the toll-free number. Response was immediate, polite and helpful.

Pharaoh's is powered by state-of-the-art software from Microgaming, the leading casino software-provider in the world and secured by Thawte. To ensure fairness and integrity of Casino games, independent auditors review outcomes for Blackjack and Roulette on a regular basis. They make sure that the Random Number Generator consistently produces random numbers. To view the most recent reports, you can click on the links on their website.

All in all, my safari time was well spent. After much back and forth it was time to call it a night and I cashed out at $81.00. That's a lot of entertainment value for $19.00. Pharaoh's Casino is an online gambling site well worth a trip.
