Classic Casino:

The Casino Rewards Group is a massive operator in the online casino world, and as such their properties have been the subject of a number of reviews here at Online-Casinos.com. Yet Casino Classic is one Casino Rewards site that has remained off the Online-Casinos.com radar - up until now that is!

Casino Classic is powered by software created by Microgaming, which means that both a flash (no download) and download version of the casino is available. While the flash-version is great for those not wanting to download, to experience the best Casino Classic has to offer, the download version is recommended.

Downloading is easy, thanks to the downloader program used by this casino - just a small piece of software (320k in size) is required to start things off, the software then does everything in terms of requesting additional files and installing the software. Similarly, registration at Casino Classic is easy, with a standard form interface being used by the casino to gather the required information from a player. As would be expected with a high quality casino, both a guest (free play) and real player account can be created. Incidentally, Casino Classic can be paid in US $, Canadian $, UK £ and Euros.

At this point, I should state that although I had not reviewed this casino before, I had played here before - so I simply had to enter my user name and password to get playing. However, for those new to Casino Classic I must point out a tremendous offer that is currently running - players can claim $500 for free and play to win as much as they can in 60 minutes! That is a tremendous offer that is practically unheard of. However, to keep the money won, a player has to deposit and wager a set amount. Nevertheless, an offer like this should not be passed up in my view!

Sadly I wasn't entitled to any bonus, and as such funded my account with my own hard earned cash - the simple to use cashier meant it was easy to transfer $100 from NETeller to my casino account. Of course, a number of other deposit methods are available at Classic, including Credit Card, E-check, Click2Pay, Payspark and more.

Casino Classic has a massive number of games available (over 160 according to the website) and these are broken down by type in the lobby area. This means that games are grouped logically, e.g. table, slot, etc. A nice touch is the preview function whereby a player can see details of a game before playing or even downloading. For example, a Blackjack game highlights the number of decks used, a slot game would show the number of win lines, the jackpot amount and more.

For those readers that are used to my reviews, you will know that I usually do my review playing in a set order - table games, video poker and slots. However, I've recently been mixing up my review play and as such decided to start of with some slot action.

Of the multitude of games available at Casino Classic, a good majority are slots and as such I had a good selection to choose from. It's also true to say that Microgaming adds 4 or so slots each month, and as such this is a section of the casino that seems to just grow and grow. What's nice though; is that each slot has its own unique identity. From three-reel games to video slots, players really should be able to find a game that suits their needs. There are also a growing number of progressive games so those who like a go at winning a massive jackpot should also feel at home; Major Millions has paid out over $1.5m jackpots in the past!

Talking of the new games at Classic, one of the slots I decided to try out was Gift Rap. This new video slot has scatters, feature games, wild symbols and more and as such really is an entertaining way to pass some time. What's more, the effort that has been put in to the game presentation is excellent - from the high quality graphics to the clever use of sound effects, games such as this are practically no different to those found in Vegas. In fact, with the ability to play in your own home I definitely believe online casinos are better!

Of course, whether you are in Vegas or playing online, the real draw of a casino is the chance to win big, and I have to say I didn't do too badly on Gift Rap - indeed a 2000 coin payout for lining up 5 monkeys bought a big smile to my face. Unfortunately, that smile was soon wiped off my face when I went over to try my luck on Off the Hook.

Although the same vibrant graphics were on show and the game played with the same great pace, the hits on this one were definitely few and far between. Of course, everyone knows that slots are volatile but when my initial $100 deposit started dipping below $50 I thought I was in trouble! Thankfully, a small $15 win helped pull me back slightly and I decided to move on!

I did have a look at some of the other slot games available but didn't really find myself doing too well. Recently I have become a huge fan of the addictive Wheel of Wealth game, but as players of this slot will know, you need a pretty big bank roll on occasion to activate the bonus round. With just $60 left I decided this was a risk too big for even me!

Instead, I decided to move on to the table games at the casino. As with slots, a good number of games are available and these range from favorites such as Blackjack to less popular games such as Red Dog - the ease with which games can be played once again highlights the benefits of online gaming.

I decided to continue my play at the multi-hand European Blackjack Table. This game is great for big time play as it allows bets on up to 5 spots per game. And with each spot allowing a bet of up to $200 it means that high-rollers can bet up to $1000 per game. Of course, really big players may want to bet more than this, but for me it was fine!

Following on from my slot experience, Blackjack was presented exactly as I would have expected - in a really high-quality fashion! The same great graphics and sound effects were again on show - Casino Classic really has done a good job on making their games as lifelike as possible. I was also impressed with another feature I found during my Blackjack play - the expert function. This allows a player to analyse their play to ensure they make the right moves. There's even an auto play function for those who really don't want to make a mistake!

Thankfully, Blackjack was also very kind to me. To make up for my slot losses I decided to bet big and on this occasion it worked out! So too did my Caribbean Stud Poker play - suddenly I was on fire! After some more play at these two tables and a little Baccarat play I found myself with a bankroll at around $175!

Although I would have been happy to cash out at this point, I still needed to test out the Video Poker games and as such clicked on the appropriate section on the menu to see what was on offer. As with the other sections of Casino Classic, a good number of games are available ranging from classic Jacks or Better games to entertaining wild card games such as Deuces and Jokers Wild. Microgaming also regularly updates this section of games, particularly with regards to multi-hand game varieties. At the time of writing, single play, 4-play, 10-play, 50-play and 100-play versions of many video poker games are available.

Thankfully, my decision to play some Video Poker games turned out to be excellent - luck was definitely now on my side. While playing 50-hand Deuces and Joker a $50 bet became $93 and even better, a $25 bet on 100-hand Jacks or Better became $125 after I was dealt a flush across the board! Video poker is volatile, but when the wins come it is definitely rewarding. What's more, the auto-hold feature built in to Classic's Video Poker means a player can ensure they always hold the best cards!

After a superb session of Video Poker I ended up with a bank balance of $300, and with this I had made a $200 profit, so I decided to cash in. Within 48 hours, the money was back in my NETeller account. With banking processing this efficient, Casino Classic definitely ranks highly in my book.

Finally, I will comment on customer support, although on this occasion I had no cause to contact them with a genuine problem. Support is offered through a number of manners - telephone, email and live chat. Unfortunately, at the time of writing live chat was unavailable. Similarly, my test email did not receive a response until 24 hours later. It is a shame that this was so, although I suppose that telephone support is available for urgent situations.

In conclusion, I have to say I was impressed with Casino Classic. The current sign-up offer is superb and with such as range of games, it's great that this casino allows players to go for a 'test drive'. Of course, with such superb game presentation I am sure many players will go on to deposit themselves, and after playing I can understand why. Superb graphics and great game play combine to make gambling a really entertaining experience. Similarly, bank processing seems to be handled superbly. It is just a shame that casino support was a slight disappointment. Nevertheless, taking everything in to account I would have to say that Casino Classic is definitely worth visiting, if only to try out that $500 freebie!
