Mobile World Congress Coming to Barcelona February 2014

The Mobile World Congress is coming to Barcelona Spain in February of 2014. The conference programme is a central element to Mobile World Congress. With an award-winning keynote programme and more than 30 focused track sessions, the Conference covers the latest trends, challenges and growth strategies for the global mobile industry. Each session will feature executives from leading companies in the mobile space, a well as experts from a growing number of adjacent industries.

For four days, in February from the 24th to the 27th 2014 Barcelona Spain will be the place to be for anyone involved in mobile gambling. Mobile is a catalyst of change and innovation and it is creating the next connected device that will transform communication. Mobile will advance the next payment system that will alter the way commerce is conducted. Launching the next must-have app that changes how everyone interacts.

Mobile World Congress 2014 is the blueprint for the next big innovation. Whatever is coming next will likely be born at Mobile World Congress 2014 either it will be announced on stage during our Conference programme or showcased in our award-winning Exhibition, or conceived during one of the thousands of meetings taking place during the week.

Year over year, the GSMA Mobile World Congress attracts the largest number and highest-quality attendees of any event in the mobile industry. And true to our name, this is truly a global event. In 2013 there were more than 72,000 attendees and over 41,000 C-Level leaders an incredible 4,300 CEOs were in attendance. Nearly 1,700 exhibitors utilised 94,000 square metres of exhibition and business meeting space and there were 3,400 plus press members representing 1,500 media outlets from 79 countries.

Ernst & Young produced a post-event report with an evaluation of the event, stating the Mobile World Congress was an extremely uplifting experience.
