Online casino and poker gambling group clkinches multi million pound deal

The deal that has been in negotiation for some months (see previous Online-Casinos.com reports) whereby online casino & gambling group Mansion will secure the biggest shirt sponsorship deal in world football will be finalised and sealed early next week.

Online poker and online casino gaming firm Mansion will replace Vodafone on the Manchester United football club shirts, and in thousands of retail shops in a GBP 60 million, four-year deal.

Sources at the club told English newspapers: "Lawyers are going over the contract this weekend. We hope to have the deal signed by Monday or Tuesday."

Mansion's GBP 15 million-a-year deal, which starts next season beats Chelsea FC's GBP 50 million, five-year deal with electronic company Samsung.

Gibralter-based and licensed Mansion is said to have overcome heavyweight competition from Etihad Airways, mobile phone giants O2, and electronics company LG.

The owner and major shareholder in Mansion, Indonesian billionaire Putera Sampoerna is reported to have sent his son to England late last week to tie up the shirt sponsorship deal with Manchester United FC.

One of the world's richest men, Sampoerna (58) sold his cigarette business to Philip Morris last year for GBP 3 billion. He is also believed to be counting out GBP 120 million to buy the Les Ambassadeurs Casino in London's Mayfair. Mansion also recently signed a GBP 40 million poker tournament deal with American giants television comapny Fox Sports Network.

Sampoerna hopes having his online casino and poker gambling company emblazoned on Man U's shirts will push Mansion's growth, especially in the Far East, where the Manchester United and soccer following is huge.
