DraftKings Inc. Launches Mobile Sports Betting in New Jersey

Headquartered in Boston Massachusetts one of the USA’s oldest cities, DraftKings Incorporated has premiered its DraftKings Sportsbook application partnering with Atlantic City’s Resorts Casino Hotel owned and run by the Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment enterprise.

Currently the offering is invite-only and will be adding both Apple and Android platforms to the DraftKings Sportsbook innovation. Players can access existing accounts which will tell players automatically how much they could win on a particular wager before making the bet.

The application has features that can be tailored to a variety of betting types including real-time bets that also lets players to changed their minds about a particular wager and cancel the bet or to cash out instantly.

To keep everything approved by the jurisdiction the state of the art geo-locating software is used by the DraftKings app which has a ten cent minimum stake for mobile sports betting in New Jersey.  

Mobile gambling has begun to show its potential with research from global gaming consultancy Eilers and Krejcik Gaming predicting that mobile sports betting could see bookmakers in New Jersey reach new levels of revenue claiming it could reach as much as $500 million per year.
